Update: December 6, 2006
Happy Holidays!!
What a fun year! Lots of touring, new faces and
places!
Johnny Lee is still kickin' down the doors with some new
faces. I've rolled off for the holiday season to enjoy
the family. He's put together another great group of
guys and the show is tight! So, take time to catch
them if they're in your neck of the woods! Get your
Urban Cowboy on!
Bobby
Pinson just released another great group of songs!
Love his writing! Pop out to the link above and snag a
copy. Some really heart-felt material!
As noted, I'm off the road for the holiday season and
bouncing around KC. If you need a player feel free to
drop a line. I'm itchin' to make some noise - writin'/recordin'/giggin'...it's
all good!!
Here's wishing you all the best this holiday season and a
blissful '07!

Watch the
Schedule for added dates, things are always changing!
Update: August 10, 2006
Seeing a lot of folks this summer!
Johnny Lee has been keeping a pretty full schedule this
summer - visiting a lot of the country (NV, NM, AZ, CO, KS,
OK, IL, KY, TX, MO, AR, LA, IL, MI, TN, IN, NC).
Thanks to everyone who's come out and helped with the shows
- sound, merch, roadies, and other groups who've shared the
stage! It's been a fun run!
Remember, Johnny and the
Urban Cowboy Band are recording a live album in Waxahachie,
TX on August 26th at the Texas Theatre! Come out and
get your hollar on!
Bobby
Pinson and the guys have had a couple dates this summer
as well! Fan Fare was a hoot and so was the Jefferson
City Jaycee's County Fair. Hopefully pics will be
posted soon so keep an eye on the site!
Watch the
Schedule for added dates, things are always changing!
Update: May 8, 2006
Another quick update.
In addition to
Johnny Lee, I'll be working some dates with
Bobby
Pinson starting late May. Bobby's a phenomenal
songwriter (visit the link and give him a listen)!
Should be a great time!
So, watch the
Schedule for added dates.
Update: May 1, 2006
Well, Spring has finally sprung!
Had a wonderful time in Montreal,
Quebec, Canada late April! Ate too much amazing food,
got in a lot of walking and sight-seeing, and drank plenty
of good coffee! Can't wait to head back up north -
beautiful country with some very, very nice folks!
Noe Palma and company had a blast at the Beaumont 4/28.
Was an all Missouri country jam - Cowboy Junkies,
Spur
(killer band - check 'em out), Gary Lincoln, and Noe Palma.
One of the best times at the Beaumont to date - the end of
night all band jam was a hoot!
ALERT: Received a call from TX
and will be heading back out on the road with
Johnny Lee starting May 5th. Really looking
forward to it - Johnny's a fun/ornery gent and I've worked
with most of the band in other projects so it should be a
lot of fun! Get to revisit some of my favorite places
and faces!
More dates coming up with Noe Palma,
Tim Pardee, and Lost in the Zoo so keep an eye on the
Schedule.
Update: April 20, 2006
I know, I know....a little remiss of my
update duties. But since you arrive nickel in hand,
I'll dispense with the project details.
The Sexy Accident
CD, TOURISM, has been released and is now available online
at
CD Baby! We've also been blessed with some great
press...replete with adverbs like "nerdy", "geeky",
"quirky", "tight", "rhythmic", "melodic". Have I whet
your interest? Peaked your curiosity?
Click here to read both reviews!!
Cory
Ryan and the guys shot a video a few weeks back for
"Loren". Don't know where the things are with the
editing process but rest assured an update will be posted
once the video hits Time Warner's KC On Demand (Channel
113). Keep an eye on the schedule for future shows at
the
Grand Emporium.
Noe Palma and company have some upcoming shows starting late
April at The Beaumont, w/Gretchen Wilson at Verizon
Amphitheatre, and again at Verizon for the Q104 Yallapolooza!
Details coming soon!!
Helped out the fine folks of
Renegade Rail for a couple shows in March. Great
folks and a fun time...actually, a crazy time in Sedalia -
wow! Included an opening slot for Kevin Fowler, one of
the artists from the TX circuit. If you have the
opportunity, catch a RR show for no other reason than to
watch the drummer solo during a beer bong.
And, last but certainly not least, had
some fun with Cameron and Trevor from
American Royal. Trevor will be flying the L.A.
coop and roosting here in KC over the summer - so watch for
some dates to pop up in the coming months.
Update: January 10, 2006
Happy
New
Year!!
Wow!! Can you believe another
year has come and gone? I'm still stuck somewhere in
July! Not sure where the rest of the year went.
That said, here's wishing you all the
best in 2006!
Cory
Ryan and the guys took top honors in the
Bands
Across Kansas City showcase. That designation
awarded Cory $1000, a video shoot, additional coverage, and
a future show at the Beaumont!
A BIG "THANKS!!!" to all fans - past and present - that took
the time to jump online and vote (especially those "Womackians"
and the Tejas crew!!). We all want to thank the sponsors and participants for a
great event - one of the best organized and executed
multi-band shows I've ever participated in. Nicely
done! Keep an eye on the schedule for future shows at
the
Grand Emporium.
Noe Palma and company had a great time opening for
Blue County
at the Beaumont NYE. Lots of folks and great music to
ring in the new year. We're planning to start some
songwriting - so watch the calendar for upcoming dates and
check out some new material!
The Sexy Accident
had a great show at the Brick on the 6th! The CD
is in process and should be available in the near future!
Look for more new music from Kates and the crew. More details soon!!
And, for those of you heading to LA for
the NAMM show, be
sure to stop by and say hello at the Samson Technologies
booth - Spirit Music Products will be sharing space with
them this year and I'll be there talking shop and demo'ing
their wares.
